Every day tens of thousands of parents across the United States rely on child care providers to supply their children with stimulating early education and quality care while they go about the business of earning their daily bread.

As child care providers, we look after infants, toddlers, and school-aged children and are in a position to profoundly impact a child’s ability to learn and succeed in school. We are crucial to children’s intellectual, emotional, interpersonal, and social development.

That is why child care providers from across the state have come together to form Child Care Providers United (CCPUnited), a union for child care providers by child care providers.

Our goal is to establish a strong, effective organization that will help to raise the quality and standards in our profession through professional development and legislative advocacy designed to improve our compensation, access to health insurance, and working conditions.

We believe every child deserves the best early education and care. Working together with advocates, parents, and public officials, we’re building a movement to increase public investment in early education and care; streamline state financing and administrative systems; and expand access to quality early education and care for all families who work for a living.
