    Providers Work Together for Home-Based Zoning Solutions

    This year we are working with elected officials and have introduced zoning legislation to help child care providers overcome barriers to securing certificates of occupancy and use variances.

    The legislation:

    • Establishes fair and uniform statewide standards for local zoning decisions;
    • Sets fair fees; and
    • Maintains health and safety standards.
